Sabinsa Corporation, East Windsor, NJ, has received Frost & Sullivan’s 2013 North American Integrated Prebiotic Delivery Technology Innovation Award. The award is in acknowledgment of Sabinsa’s Integrated Nutritional Composites (INC) technology, which allows the company to create “synbiotics,” the combination of prebiotics and probiotics. This release profile, a bi-layer technology that delivers stable, active formulation of ingredients that otherwise may be incompatible or difficult to co-formulate, works more effectively.
